I completed a votematch for the upcoming EU elections (voting for a Dutch party).

I rated the question of whether the EU should cease cooperation with Israel as highly important. Obviously with a „disagree“.

If you want to influence the Israel-Palestine conflict, you need to INCREASE COOPERATION with Israel and strengthen the democratic, liberal forces in Israel. Ceasing cooperation will only strengthen the extremist and fascist voices and forces in Israel, which also oppose a peaceful solution with the Palestinians. It is the wrong way.

If you’re voting in the EU election, I appeal to you to find out which parties call for boycotting Israel and NOT VOTE FOR THEM.

In the Netherlands these are SP, PvdD and Piratenpartij - de Groenen.

In any case – use your democratic right (and privilege) and VOTE!
