Our lovely BSD conference, held in the Netherlands. Or more specifically, in Utrecht - which is the centre of our little country.

We've updated our S3 storage backend to the newest @HardenedBSD build - making sure that your media files are protected against adversaries with serious exploit mitigations.
Tonight, we'll update #OpenBSD too, which runs the actual Mastodon application - further increasing the exploit mitigations and safeguards

Incident report
Our mailserver - mx1.exqinfra.nl - temporary had delivery issues. Due to a syntax error in the zone config, the PTR (reverse DNS) record was broken.
This has now been resolved. Apologies for the inconvenience, we will take better care to prevent this from happening.
Turns out that, yes, it was DNS 
Security fixes? Say no more. We are already on the just announced Mastodon v4.5.5 - the Glitch variant because Markdown makes the world go round.
