#OpenZFS 2.3.0:
- RAIDZ Expansion: Add new devices to an existing #RAIDZ pool, increasing storage capacity without downtime.
- Fast Dedup: A major performance upgrade to the original OpenZFS deduplication functionality.
- Direct IO: Allows bypassing the ARC for reads/writes, improving performance in scenarios like NVMe devices where caching may hinder efficiency.
- Long names: Support for file and directory names up to 1023 characters.
Holy crap!
#defcon wifi registration is up!
Been thinking this weekend about #defcon and my use of devices. Usually I take a blank old phone, and a blank old #thinkpad. Setup #wireguard on up to date OS's and leave it at that. Not signed in to anything, no personal data on board.
Does anyone have any comfy setups they'd like to share? I'd rather not have a heavy backpack full of tech all week, but curious to know what configurations people find work well for them.
