I'm no fan of Sunak but if these woke councils aren't stopped then it's only a matter of time before they start suggesting that speed limits apply to motorbikes as well, and that will be the end of civilisation as we know it.

Two months after getting my BMW, today I rode my old ZX-6R for the final time, taking it to its new owner.
I was worried that riding it again I’d think that the BM was a mistake and want to go back to in-line 4s.
Needn’t have worried. I’ve loved all three of my ZX-6Rs, and the tens of thousands of miles I’ve done on them, but perched atop that tiny thing, my knees round my ears, I’m happy that the time was right for a change. And grateful, after 28 years of riding, to have become an old rider.
@Glencoe @paul_edwin I'd have thought on a nice weekend like this you could stroll down the A82 with a pocketful of spanners and help yourself to the wheels of whoever's gone for a countryside lie-down.

@paul_edwin have been out taking big bikes on shitty roads. We both stayed sunny-side up, I’ve stopped crying now, and my bike trousers will be good as new after a dry-clean.
