just a few minutes ago, while taking the dogs out for pre-bedtime pee. a big white shining thing in the sky, shooting off to ESE, roughly. it's big, almost as big as the moon (in the west), and has a bright green color around the edges. it goes over the horizon, and there's no sound after a couple minutes. it doesn't look like any plane or satellite I've seen, nor like any (recreational chemistry induced) visual glitches I may have experience in my ill-spent youth.
also, I need to find a source of powdered sugar that isn't cut with cornstarch; the flavor is not a big issue, but distinct
I will cut a slice and review it further after I have recovered from the carb coma caused by licking the beaters
lessons learned: I should have followed my usual custom cooking with cocoa, which is to add half again the recipe, and to replace some of the liquid with coffee
