I probably need to be more proactive and share some stuff but work.
Also, some things I've been reading are so wonderful I feel like a dumpster fire, haha.

this was great fun. A little bit of humor and a little bit of pain. I've often been frustrated with the horror troupe as well.
I mean, come on, you can't convince me you just KNEW how to use that flamethrower. 😒😄
The beginning was maybe a bit off for me, but I cannot articulate why at the moment. Nothing major just some sort of flow. Also you have no reason to listen to me, haha I am not a professional anything just offering my take as a reader.
It was fun.

We dug our fingers
deep into plastic,

searching for heads
amid the wreckage
of old ships, buildings
and airplanes.

The two of us,
working, quietly:
she, five;
Me, older.

She took each one --
each tiny yellow
head discovered
in the bin
of abandonment --
and built a tower
of scowls and smiles
and surprise.

So I laughed
along with her
at the absurdity
of it all,

this remembering.
