Morning everypony! Believe it or not, I'm still alive! Been doing some painting and such over here, usually on streams in the evenings. Working on some Stargazer pieces, I happened to work on the next part of my storyboard for the comic, and unintentionally went a little too hard.

In this shot, Starsong looks into the sky above her home planet and realizes that she no longer belongs on the ground. The stars call her name, and she intends to answer. The longing on her face belies the determination she has to escape the bonds of Aelia.

I had so much fun painting this piece, and I really need to thank my best friend @duppydoodles for some advice on shading that really brought this piece to life. Love you buddy, thank you.
