Morning everypony! Believe it or not, I'm still alive! Been doing some painting and such over here, usually on streams in the evenings. Working on some Stargazer pieces, I happened to work on the next part of my storyboard for the comic, and unintentionally went a little too hard.

In this shot, Starsong looks into the sky above her home planet and realizes that she no longer belongs on the ground. The stars call her name, and she intends to answer. The longing on her face belies the determination she has to escape the bonds of Aelia.

I had so much fun painting this piece, and I really need to thank my best friend @duppydoodles for some advice on shading that really brought this piece to life. Love you buddy, thank you.

Sometimes depression knocks you out of the world for awhile, and when you come back everything looks weird.

Thankfully I'm coming out of a slightly longer-term episode and I'm feeling so much better these last few days.

Started working on a new character for #projectstargazer the other night, which I haven't been working on for almost a year- and hot damn she's a cutie. Lots of fun concepts to do with this completely amoral/slightly villainous alicorn named Frozen Dawn.

What do ya'll think of her? Still need a cutie mark that fits better, I had the concept for a blue sun surrounded by frozen ice crystals but I'm absolute shit at those kinds of designs. Anyhow, enjoy this new character design! Here's hoping for more Stargazer content very soon!

Morning ponies!

Yes, I am in fact alive, lol! Been dealing with some health problems, but I've got some art in the pipeline and more than a few pieces to share from the last few months!

I've been working on my anthro art recently, and I am really proud of the progress. Lots of work to be done admittedly, but I had no idea my observation skills had progressed as far as they have!

Here's my most recent adventure into that space. I expect to be doing some more studies into the subject, drawing humanoid bodies has proven to be a lot of fun!
