I built for myself this alter pc and thought it may be useful for others too. Parts are of EU origin. Cheap compared to Linux laptops, but its good enough to get a feel about life without bigtech. Its more for the average internet users than the Fediverse, but we need the average users to make an impact. I bought this #overmax 5.1 projector about a year ago. Nothing fancy, but we love it for watching movies in the evening. Overmax headquarters in Poland. It would be an overstatement to say it is European (manufactured in China), but has some traces of being it. #HMD Global is planning to move back mobile phone production to Europe. They owned the #nokia brand, but they decided to drop it and continue under the name HMD - Human Mobile Device. Time for Europe to have a mobile brand, again.
