@christianselig I mean… 4 times the pixels in 12.4% more screen area plus the hardware to drive 33 million pixels instead of 8 million would be a bit more expensive.

@ElleGray I am still of the opinion that the iocane powder was an inhalant poison, not necessarily an ingested one. When Wesley had Vizzini smell it, Vizzini was dead before he even thought the game of minds had begun.

@allienimmons Oh for sure. I see a lot of it as NVIDIA’s new ploy to sell their GPUs after the bottom fell out of crypto, because wouldn’t you know… their video cards can do some amazing things with machine learning and LLMs, but you have to invest into a high-end video card to really try it out. Super convenient how that worked out.

@Lazarou I think what they and/or others are doing is trying to build rapid profits, bolstering the companies standings before swiftly selling out and exiting with their fat wallets in tow.

@allienimmons I think that this is just the beginning. Everyone is trying to jump on the AI train to “add value” to their products, but all it’s going to do is boost profits for a few months and pad the C-suite wallets.

I think we’re about to hit the point where the bottom falls out over all of these different things and huge companies are going to be closing doors.

@traveler01 I’m having an issue where message notifications are not always “dinging” on my phone (13 Pro Max w/ PB2) or Watch (S8 45mm w/ PB2), but if I turn my Watch off, I will get a notification. Multiple restarts of each, but I’m only 26 hours on the beta.

I did notice that most of my issues with PB1 in-between both devices resolved after 48 hours w/o a reboot, so here’s hoping…
