The new automatic transcription feature for PeerTube is great. The whisper transcriber is pretty good, but some errors are inevitable. Many creators don't like having mistakes in their creations though.

@agates with the Podping plugin automates PeerTube integration with Podcasting 2.0 using Podpings.

New channels, new videos, new live streams, all automatically send podpings to announce content availability. Modern podcasting apps and indexes process the information for discoverability and subscriptions.

The only downside is needing to configure an API key before it works, but well worth the effort

@John_Livingston has produced what is easily the best PeerTube plugin to date. This adds the important ability for live stream viewers to chat with themselves and the streaming creators. Not only one of the earliest plugins, it has been continually updated, enhancing configurability and features steadily. With great documentation and active support, it's a must have plugin

Not sure who or what orion is, but they have a handful of plugins available in the PeerTube plugins/themes page. The channel explorer plugin fills part of the outstanding PeerTube discovery issues. It allows users to browse through available channels, showing both local and federated channels. Really helpful for new users starting out.Definitely a Plugin I advise all
#PeerTubeSysops to install.
