If words have the power to inform our thoughts then why is the go-to word to describe a fantasy person who runs a search and rescue service, wears accessories, lives in a house, buys food, likes to sing and has a bank account, but also four legs; still "feral"? It directly implies a lack of mental faculties as opposed to words like non-morphic, non-anthro, or quadruped*. While all of these are in some ways inaccurate, not as much as "feral" *yes not all are quadruped but my example was 4-legged
Earlier today I saw a group of hooded crows and jackdaws foraging together. I wasn't sure what a group of jackdaws is called, so I just looked it up and was not disappointed. On this day I officially saw a MURDER-TRAIN
Surrogates teased a promising idea, but was a strange and somewhat revolting ride. In the end my takeaway was that it's a movie about cops and luddites taking turns to make things worse for others, until we reached the logical conclusion of the luddite cop saying fuck you to everyone who thought they get to make decisions about their lives. Time to daydream about a parallel universe where the movie had less of those and instead tons of nonhuman avatars and avatars of tons
