Today's going to be a big day. My retail super fund money is now in my SMSF.

Got a few phone calls to make or emails to write when I get home from my place of employment relating to my investment property purchase.

My property managers have agreed with me that I should not have to pay for the water that leaked near my water meter.

They have decided to work out my normal usage & charge me for that only.

Someone forgot to set their alarm last night after 2 days off. Woke up 1 minute before I was supposed to sign on.

Luckily for me, I live nearby & was able to get to work reasonably quickly & I made it in time for my first task.

Also helps that it's not my first rodeo when it comes to waking up & going straight to the place of employment.

I applied early last week to transfer my super to my SMSF so I can purchase my investment property. Still waiting so I called my super fund.

I'm told that it will be 3 more business days. The clock got reset because of my employer's latest contribution to my super account.

I forgot thqt there was a planned power outage today. I'd just finished recording a Simulated Erk episode & was in the process of shutting down the PC when the power outage started.

Later, I was talking to one of my next door neighbours when Old Mate across the road was troubleshooting his meter box.

Me: You know there's a planned power outage, right?

Narrator: He did not know there was a planned power outage.
