god i really wish there was like a federated tumblr-like thing focused on being wacky and fun

it's the whole reason I was excited about cohost when it was originally opened and befoe it got super concerning

it would be nice to have something with minimal amount of safe sanitization and least amount of limits, wacky colorful UIs, 10000 character posts, custom fonts and embeddable media of all kinds, standalone or in the middle of text or anywhere, music that you can mix with pictures and videos in the most interesting layouts you could imagine, shiny gifs of rotating text with transparency, custom themes per profile or even per post, actually useful/usable hashtags that help creating groups and communities for people to organize rather than just having individual people alone, something focused on providing users with as much resources for expressing creativity as possible rather than being A Normal Website
