Professionally, pastor in a Protestant church ( @com_uepal ) in Alsace, France, Europe, Earth. PhD in Protestant theology and history of medieval Christianity. Will not speak too much about my job, though. I prefer to speak about Star Trek or DnD.

For the #InternationalTypewriterDay, I just bought on eBay my second typewriter

It's an Olympia Dactylette S… and it doesn't look like a good #typewriter. But it seems to work, and I had it for 6,50€, so it's worth a shot (and it has a beautiful colour!). If it works, even badly, I'll be able to type again, as my “daily driver” is still at the repairer, and I'll be happy.

And who knows, maybe it'll be a good surprise?

Happy International Typewriter Day!  Today commemorates the date in 1868 when Christopher Latham Sholes was granted a patent for the first commercially successful typewriter.

Bonjour les mastopotes. Hier soir j’ai vu ma fille 33 ans qui m’a raconté l’histoire suivante. La veille elle faisait la fête avec des copaines dans un bar quand tout à coup un mec inconnu lui met une grosse claque sur les fesses. Ni une ni deux elle se retourne et lui bourre le tarepif de coup de poing. Le mec saigne. Les gens dans le bar y compris ceux qui accompagnent le mec la félicitent.
Je suis hyper fière d’elle. Ça suffit!
Et vous vous les élevez comment vos filles?
