@delight_aug honestly no idea what i was thinking of with those - the title language was always meant to not be readable and just be for vibes but those left 2 are just beyond abstract πŸ˜…

if you currently hate your game's UI pls know that APICO's menus looked like garbage for a long time

I also wanted to experiment with stuff I haven’t done before - combat, enemy AI, darker themes and dynamic music systems.

Speaking of - shout out to
@mothense for helping me make something really awesome and adding a whole other level to the game! ⭐️

So with Rift Breach I wanted to take more of a β€œit’s good enough, move on!” approach

I have lots of ideas for games I want to try, but I'm always put off by feeling that I'm not skilled or experienced enough yet to do the idea justice.

However the more I create the more experience I get, so the bar keeps getting raised and I'm never confident enough! πŸ₯²

I wanted to try designing a smaller game with a very strict scope - basically a personal gamejam.

I always find it difficult to be β€œdone” with things and spend far too long tweaking stuff no-one notices, so I wanted to use this to practice getting better at letting go.
