The @frameworkcomputer Laptop 12 might be the most repair-friendly laptop we’ve ever opened. Seriously. It’s shockingly easy to take apart, and for a touchscreen convertible, that’s rare. It earned a 10/10 on our repairability scale thanks to clever engineering choices:
- Screwless SSD clip.
- Cable-free battery removal.
- Clearly labeled mainboard.
- QR codes on every major part.
We tore it down. You can fix it up.

Font vendor IDs should be NFTs on Ethereum that need to be renewed each year and can be permissionlessly registered.
Emailing Microsoft bureaucrats to get an ID is an awful system, I guarantee insiders get express treatment and some requests are ignored for political and personal reasons.
I got Norad v0.16.0 working with Bezy! But I had to completely rewrite the application from scratch because that was easier and faster than fixing all the errors from upgrading Norad in the old application.
I originally built the editor using the same version of Norad that Runebender used when people stoped working on it, because that made porting things over easy.
