@ricci I think the metric is "crap we burned billions on trying to keep up with the hype cycle and the investors want us to show that we didn't just light the money on fire", but what they're doing is a very bold way to try and demonstrate it.

Surprisingly easy to just boot my existing TrueNAS SCALE install on the new hardware. Only thing I had to fix was the expired certificate. Firefox let me bypass the expired cert so that I could get it done. Now just have to wait for drive trays on Monday.
