Home renovation project in the UK: requires type A personality, careful planning and coordination between different builders/specialists. You need to align and allow for builders doing multiple projects at once. Also they leave early after the first few days unless you watch them. Timeline is a few weeks.

Renovation project in Romania: type B personalities are fine - call everyone on the day or for next day. Get everything done in 2-3 days. I’m speechless at how quickly things move. 😮
