There is so much cool shit on the internet. This is an example of why the internet exists.

Leaky Ring

@abstractcode same diagnosis. I feel less confused and self loathing.

Pre discovery of these facts I was given two different SSRIs. They both cognitively wrecked me. Thoughts seemed just out of reach or obscured in some way.

What was cool is I more often would identify how I was feeling before becoming overwhelmed.

It felt to me that the good and bad had similarities but I couldn’t do my job without being in a good cognitive state.

@dysfun vibe code snark replies.

Actually wait that’s kind of a funny idea lol

@otaviocc what absolute dirt bags. I hope they forget some gum in their pockets and it goes through the laundry.

@BasementDweller3000 I feel the exact way about indie games too.

It’s really cool

Oh right I need to charge the car. Let me turn off vpn, get off wifi / stop using pihole, enable location services.

Oh no that didn’t work? Okay let me force close, send the unlock. Nope? Maybe nfc works, oh yep there we go.

Oh charging port won’t open? Oh right there’s an update pending and the car needs to reboot.

Okay it rebooted. Now I can press the “start” button to unlock the charging port. Oh whoops, the lift gate just opened, not the charging port.

@catsalad omg no!

@erkhyan I out loud (over) shared my joy on discovering a use case for nixos because it is a truly beautiful way to manage a system.

Of course everyone knows that using a functional language to declaratively describe infrastructure is optimal.

Being able to go wherever I want however I want whenever I want on a bike is how I feel most free.

Through a field. Down a trail. Through some alleys or lots. By a lake. Or just down a bike path.

As fast or as slow as I can muster.

It just feels correct and good.

My son is starting to discover these feelings and it makes it even better.

@daihard no idea but this thing looks like a ripper!
