Every few months or so I check in on @eloraam 's Twitter just to see how their perpetual gamedev project is going. It's kinda comforting, the way they're just always picking away at it, whether or not it ever releases. It's the same kinda warm fuzzies I get seeing someone on Youtube doing a hobby; just seeing a familiar face keeping themselves busy with something they find interesting makes me happy, even if it's someone I barely even know.
Their old RedPower Minecraft mod is a big object of nostalgia to me; to this day, whenever I boot up modded again, I find myself running into problems that i know exactly how I'd solve with RP's tubes. It's always been frustrating to me how clone mods like Project Red keep the list of circuits frozen in the (not at all final! RP was unfinished!) state they were in when it ended, and don't port the tubes at all. Eloraam had a unique knack for constructing a powerful, flexible, yet simple toolset, and if their standalone game ever does release I'll be happy to play it.
