Alasdair AllanMusk has used "Vox populi, Vox Dei" to justify reinstating Trump on #Twiiter. But the quote is from a letter from Alcuin to the Emporer Charlemagne urging him to resist such ideas, "Nec audiendi qui solent dicere, Vox populi, vox Dei, quum tumultuositas vulgi semper insaniae proxima sit." Which translates as "And do not listen to those who keep saying, 'The voice of the people is the voice of God', because the tumult of the crowd is always close to madness."

James FeltonProbably not going to talk about this on Twitter (good lord that site is toxic) but it really does suck that the world’s richest man had a whim and now suddenly people who rely on it for income just… can’t anymore.
Books don’t actually pay that well, but I was able to cut down to 4 days at my day job, 1 day to write books (something I’m proud of!) but looking at followers drop off, I think that’s now just gone.
This was a fun first toot huh
