@Wearwolf I'm guessing it's the default because it's the least-picked option, and they want to even out their deliveries across the day as much as possible.

@Cal Misc is for minor issues that don't need a full category. Other is for issues that don't fit anything else including Misc.
@azninsect postal is annoying when you live alone, as it requires a witness. Plus I'm uneasy about it in general: The accessibility is of course important but you lose the enforced secrecy of your ballot.

@azninsect They removed the early voting center a few minutes walk from me, without a car it's now way too far to bother getting to one. If I wait for voting day it becomes only a 10min walk.
Between that and moving me from a marginal seat to a safe seat, I'm a little upset with the AEC this election.

@DB_VST @edolnx Also it's very easy to write bots that use the zulip API to do more specialized tasks/integrations like automodding or notifications (I saw this thread because it got auto posted in our zulip).
The thread model is good for technical communities because each question/idea can have a thread, unlike slack/discord where it gets lost in a busy channel. You can make the history public read-only without login.
