My 8 year old has been sick for almost a week, negative for COVID, flu, and strep. She seemed to be improving but is worse again, coughing so much she throws up, tons of phlegm, no appetite. She was a premie and had always gotten extra sick and has had asthma-type symptoms in the past. She's up to date on COVID and flu vaccines and wears a mask at school, and in all public places. What else can we even do? I'm so tired, and so frustrated.

I normally work from home, but need to go into the office today. I take a bus to the commuter rail to the subway, just to get across the city of Boston into Cambridge. The bus was 5 minutes early so I missed it and had to speed walk to the train, which was on time. I have been waiting at the subway stop for 32 minutes. A train just came and I couldn't fit, and now I'm waiting for the next one that claims to be 7 minutes away. Oof. #mbta #commuterrail #redline #commute #Boston
