all of my vim swap files go to a directory in ~ and i looked at it for the first time in apparently ten years today:

> du -sh .vimswap
143G .vimswap

138G is a file i do not understand has been there since 2020. the disk itself is about 900G. i have been wondering why it's *so* full for three years but never really bothered finding out.
