There seems to be some confusion about Tusky containing non-free code/google-services/firebase stuff, so let me clear that up.
The current 1.1.4 build on the Playstore contains a firebase library, and the 1.1.4 build on f-droid does not. We just got rid of that library, so with the next update that will be released on sunday, Tusky will be completely free and open-source on all stores.

Looking forward to seeing the next episode of the #LundukeHour. Suse101 by @BryanLunduke convinced me to convert right as they had a full weekend outage of multiple services (software., build., and authentication). Oof! Excited to start digging into Tumbleweed this week though!
