@terminaltilt a small comment about TOTP - Token2's companion app is perfectly fine, with a GUI and stuff, but just on Windows for the time being

@lunareclipse piv is for storing and using PKI certificates. It is not windows only, but token2 has not yet released the tools for macOS and Linux (says “coming soon”)
@lunareclipse I thought if CTAP2 works over USB, this NFC workaround should work too.
In any case, the cheapest key you referenced (T2F2) is at least 6 years old. Newer ones have PGP, PIV and 300 passkeys in addition to NFC. @doboprobodyne @EricAlper you can extract the chip, but the antenna has to overlap with the phone or NFC reader for at least at 2cm2 surface. Having it less will not give enough power to the applet to boot
@mica Hello, first devices promised to be released Q4 this year (which may well be December :) ). But depends what you need them for - if for PIV functionality, the initial release with be Windows only. If you dont need PIV everything else remains the same
