I follow people and news which focus on infosec/"cyber". ISSO, CISSP, hardware SME, documenter. Hubby, dadx3, amateur astronomer, backpacker.
@howelloneill @josephcox this article hurt my heart to read. But I don’t doubt it.
Great news, everyone! My password was selected to be published as a short story! #typingfatigue
@InfoSecSherpa I keep forgetting it here. Very glad I occasionally do.
The only remaining reason I had for Twitter use was to look up news on emerging stories (weather, uprisings, local things). I did it all by browser, though, because I deleted the app a loooong time ago. I have grown content with this platform, and I have weaned myself off the need for emerging news.
Look, I don’t mean to sound daft, but isn’t Instagram Meta’s Twitter?!
@gturpin @Chronomyst then CTRL+Shift+C is right for you
@campuscodi when I read that, all I could think was, “how on earth did they find 25 trillion NFTs to steal?!”
I wear an amulet to ward off superstition.

Since closing out my "bird site" account is now inevitable, I'm taking steps to ensure the account isn't recovered for shitposters.

At this point I'm setting MFA, adding a complex password, and pointing recover to a burner webmail account that's also running MFA.

This really sucks, but I'd rather be at the edge of the forest than in the middle when someone catches it on fire.

.@zackwhittaker it's infuriating to know that LastPass unequivocally stated in September that no customer data was taken in the August breach, but admitted in the news for the latest incident that, yes, stuff WAS indeed taken in August.
