Mike Masnick ✅So... it looks like @mastodeck has really improved a lot very quickly. If you liked tweetdeck or the advanced webview of Mastodon, it's worth checking out. It's definitely still in beta, and I've already found some bugs, but I'm likely going to ditch Mastodon's advanced view for Mastodeck soon...

@ZuriBella I go to @adamdavidson ‘s journa.host site and jump into the public local timeline to find journos covering topics I’m interested in and then open the app to follow them. Wish my app had a way to look at another host’s public local timeline natively, but this works well enough.
@IChewPorridge same here. Was going to delete my account once he decided to bring back trans harassment/hate. Then TFG reinstatement was the last little nudge I needed. Need more news outlets and journos to jump ship to complete the collapse.

@PeteStrzok couldn’t they add a parameter to the user profile for DM’s and integrate it with the client apps? Like pressing the DM button opens a new message in Signal or the like? More secure and user friendly.
