I wrote up a guide on how to build a set of walkie talkies with esp-now and Arduino. Case design was inspired by some Barbie-themed toy walkie talkies that a friend of mine had when we were little kids

ESP-NOW Walkie Talkies

Ditch the smart phone and communicate with your buddy by building this set of walkie talkies! A Feather ESP32-S3 Reverse TFT runs Arduino code that uses the ESP-NOW protocol to send and receive I2S audio packets. The w.FL antenna adds extra range to communicate at longer distances indoors or outdoors.

New puzzle! Jellyfish Bloom is a wood puzzle featuring a bloom of glowing jellyfish. The artwork was created for us by Berlin-based illustrator Julia C. Heldner, whose luminous drawings celebrate the mesmerizing forms of jellyfish. Available now: https://n-e-r-v-o-u-s.com/shop/product.php?code=448

I find myself in a side quest today. Making a standalone snapfit case for the Feather Propmaker. Its got cutouts for the screwblock terminals, button pressers and access to the stemma qt port.
Lil finder guy took 14 hrs to print. I choose to make this one solely because it was designed to print support free.
In all my years of doing NeoPixel projects, today was the first time EVER i needed order = neopixel.BGR . The blue and red are swapped 🤯
A side effect of my last project (lamp with sliding dovetails) has me spending more time designing features so there's no fasteners in this assembly. Problem with that means more time spent iterating, tolerance testing and failed prints. I could be done by now if I'd only settle on being OK with screws 🔩🚫
