I now have several Mastodon accounts; here on cybre.space, but also on queer.party, mastodon.art, and roleplayers.bub.org. What do you do with different accounts? Are they like different identies (work you vs gamer you vs creative writer you)? Are they doors to the same thing, with different local crowds? Are they separate like social medias that have a common public channel??

Funny, cybre.space has such a cyberpunk feel, but also a retro one. It's a callback to my early days of exploring the not-yet-named-Internet. Except unlike the cyberpunk genre, things felt more hopeful to me back then. Maybe I was just naive. Now, it feels like we've embraced the gritty dark side of cyberpunk as our reality. I could use some hopepunk right about now.
