@peterkos @mattiem Birth of a TAS author
Here's one for the glitch art fans
@stroughtonsmith "Is it me? … No, it is the children who lack respect for creative labor. Now listen it's not a *filter*, it's prompt your own vendor lock-in"
@slava @airspeedswift Nyan Cat missed connection
@griotspeak Yeah but a skewer should stick out the ends whereas sausages are simply linked
Oh no, I encountered the name sausage-case and it's simply a better name than kebab-case
@mattiem @mattcomi To decide that I think you could use the memory stats panel in activity monitor. The compressed memory and swap used values show evidence of past memory pressure, like the peak mark on a sound meter. If in the middle or at the end of a work day (or a let's-compile-Xcode trial) they are both zero, no more memory would help. As I understand it, a bit of compressed can be OK for apps you leave on to resume later, but it subtracts from your working pool.
@fahrni It snowed today!
@stroughtonsmith Hmm! Yes maybe this is a Worse is Better situation
@stroughtonsmith If you're interested in avoiding the unstable appearance of two coplanar polygons, like the center square in this overlap, a term you can prompt with is Z-fighting, as in, "I see Z-fighting where the two front sides overlap." The term always made me think of Power Rangers.
