Fixing the $800 de minimis threshold goes hand-in-hand with the actions being taken by the CPSC to increase safety standards for #ebike electrical systems. There is no reason for this exception to exist and I'm glad someone is finally taking action.

Another lawsuit for Rad Power. This one claims that the bike "suddenly and without warning ... came to an abrupt stop" which caused injury and property damage. The complaint doesn't detail exactly what they believe caused the "electronic bicycle" to do this. The only other item that stuck out is they're claiming Rad breached an express ORAL, not written, warranty. Any lawyers out there with an opinion on this? #ebikes
I've had vendors ask me for write-ups on products I have no experience with. I don't do that. You don't need me to regurgitate the specs you can read yourself in a brochure or promises made by the manufacturer. You need my experience with a real product I've touched. (3/3)
