@mykie she's so nice  . We'll extend 6 months with no rent change. And might increase a bit after 6 months as she's in the process of refinancing. I'm happy to pay a bit more tbh. This is more than what I hoped for.
It’s amazing how quickly I’ve gone from “What the hell is Mastodon?” to “Maybe I should start a Mastodon server?”
@mykie I scratched the two giant paragraphs and went for what you suggested lol. Feel like this way I can unload the pressure from my side haha. Fingers crossed
One day I am going to make a survival game about what it's like for me during the winter. Gameplay is going to consist of balancing layers of warm clothing vs encumbrance in a vain attempt to manage a thermal energy meter that is always ticking down. Mean while the mid term objectives are all "get wood from outside" "get something from the frozen produce isle and live".
@[email protected] thank you
@pyxl_8 haha a friend also warned me the S licence! Funnily they shared a clip of a pro player best S-10 gold with 7 second to spare. I was like, if pro player can only beat a gold trophy with that small margin of time, how insanely difficult this game was? Today I learned that 7 seconds in auto racing is pretty much eternity. I had too many times almost gold with just 0.00x seconds gap. It was a funny realisation
@e4 If you really want to get in deep, there’s like a digital handbook in the menus there somewhere that goes into the real-world details of the physics of motor racing. The concepts it covers (specifically on tyres) can be applied anywhere. In the game, on a leisurely drive in real car, in a go kart, watching F1 on TV. Made me much better at the game understanding the likes of friction circles, gave me a greater understanding of motoring in general and made me a safer driver! It’s wonderful
@pyxl_8 wow! I haven't explored the game much. I'll absolutely check this out! Thanks for sharing!

I caught up with one of a very few I would consider best friends from high school the other day. Chatting about random stuff and they mentioned they were having this noodle dish - it's quick and yum so they gave me the recipe.

You know, when you give someone recipe you really hope them to actually make it and enjoy it. So I wanna make my friend know that I love them (I also wanna try the noodles). I took pictures of me making the noodles following the recipe and sent them over.
