Migrating to aus.social. It seems I'll lose all my toots tho
It’s amazing how quickly I’ve gone from “What the hell is Mastodon?” to “Maybe I should start a Mastodon server?”
One day I am going to make a survival game about what it's like for me during the winter. Gameplay is going to consist of balancing layers of warm clothing vs encumbrance in a vain attempt to manage a thermal energy meter that is always ticking down. Mean while the mid term objectives are all "get wood from outside" "get something from the frozen produce isle and live".
@e4 If you really want to get in deep, there’s like a digital handbook in the menus there somewhere that goes into the real-world details of the physics of motor racing. The concepts it covers (specifically on tyres) can be applied anywhere. In the game, on a leisurely drive in real car, in a go kart, watching F1 on TV. Made me much better at the game understanding the likes of friction circles, gave me a greater understanding of motoring in general and made me a safer driver! It’s wonderful

I caught up with one of a very few I would consider best friends from high school the other day. Chatting about random stuff and they mentioned they were having this noodle dish - it's quick and yum so they gave me the recipe.

You know, when you give someone recipe you really hope them to actually make it and enjoy it. So I wanna make my friend know that I love them (I also wanna try the noodles). I took pictures of me making the noodles following the recipe and sent them over.

Ended up playing for 5 or 6 hours trying to get gold trophies for all the licence challenges. I'm stuck on International B 5 at the moment so I decided to take a break. But it's a fun game that I'm glad I gave it a try - Thanks to a friend who lent the game to me, we exchange games and it's fun to have someone to talk to about the game!

I planned to finish Horizon Forbidden West this weekend but started playing Gran Turismo 7.

Didn't think I would play racing game for long but somehow the "licence" system in the game got me hooked.

It's basically a tutorial of a variety of methods - how/when to brake, coasting, ride apex, turning on dirt road. Each licence became a small challenge with clear goals that needs to finish a section of race within certain amount of time, some as short as 15 seconds.

Made noodles!
Okay I'm CLEARLY too young for this band
Going to watch a live music show of a band I have no idea about
