After two stints of the flu in consecutive months, I now have two strongly held convictions:

1. Tamiflu is totally worthwhile
2. If Jordan actually had the flu, Stockton would have a ring. “Food poisoning game” doesn’t have the same flair to it.

Props to NotionAI for saving me from googling or pinging someone over 1000 acronyms
I ordered a bagel and iced coffee from a popular bagel spot near the office and it was $25. I am shook.
Manager axiom: try not to attribute to malice what can be better attributed to burnout.

Two properties I admire most in coworkers are ownership and urgency.

Ownership: "No matter what, excuses aside, this is on me."

Urgency: "What’s the point in doing this if we’re not going to do it as well as we can?"

Shout out to my mom (always), Lin-Manuel Miranda / Ron Chernow / Alexander Hamilton, and the optimistically dissatisfied ICs and managers that I have the privilege to work with daily that embody these values.

@aaronmoodie I started journaling more intentionally recently. What’s your medium of choice? I assume with stats it’s digital?
