@johnlehet the roses may have been grown for the size of the hips to use in teas, a good source of vitamin c in winter. A friends grandmother kept some rather ugly flat roses for that very reason. They lived in the back corner of the yard so they wouldn't have to be viewed close up but would discourage traffic and add a splash of background color. That woman was amazing. Tootles... Wade

@kriykat well, I, for one have vacated "Most" popular social media.(X,TT,FB,Instathingy...) for 100 hours each week (~ M-F ) (exceptions being mastodon and BlueSky) largely to impact commercial social media's access to advertising funds based on my viewership. It's pennies but as grandma used to tell me "If you watch your pennies your dollars will take care of themselves" Thank you GrandMa. Tootles... Wade

Winning today like a BAMF !

I stripped the sheets from the bed this morning prepping for laundry and decided WTF, Let's put clean sheets on now.
After going to the doc, waiting for prescriptions, grocery shopping, laundry and a few other errands. I got home unloaded the car, put away groceries, took a shower and YAY ! I don't have to make the bed !
After last week, this is what Winning looks like this week. Take little victories where you can.
