@marc_veld (time permitting) can you do a thread on just how important nutrition is/isn't for immunity against respiratory viruses? I get a ton of my information from nutrition researchers but I realised there's no info I have from immunologists 🙂
@marc_veld Thanks for highlighting this - it's so hard figuring out if these outbreaks are something new. The news is obviously sensitized to it so we hear about it more. Do you have any scientific lit you can link to doing any comparisons between pre 2019 & now?
@marc_veld On that screen shot you highlighted the account is only asking for respirators & HEPA filters in schools. I think that's a good thing regardless of what's going on with COVID, no? Less pollution, less already stressed/sick people in hospital getting any virus etc.
@marc_veld Thanks for the thread. Would you say if a vaccine is available then delaying infection indefinitely is a good thing?
@marc_veld As a lay person I find it incredibly frustrating that AJ doesn't just publish a paper in a well respected journal. That way the scientific process can review & we'd get closer to the truth. These social media peer review threads are confusing to follow. Thank you for continuing to bring this information Marc, but I wanted to share my frustration!

@marc_veld Excellent tips! Some additional tips with references including RCT's.

Biggest bang for buck: blueberries, broccoli.

@marc_veld Would the mucosal platform enable quicker adaption to circulating variants vs jab? I didn't expect them to be a silver bullet but I expected them to dramatically reduce post acute sequelae vs jabs? Would love you to do a thread on musocal tools like iota-carrageenan if you get the chance
@marc_veld Thanks for your interpretation on this. 60% of the US population have some sort of chronic illness though (pre diabetes/diabetes/copd etc.). So although the vet population in hospital will be higher, with the metabolic issues in western populations we're really not healthy past our 20s.
@kityates Survey filled! Thanks for all the work you do, glad to find you over here on mastodon
@marc_veld Sounds like a new equilibrium needs to settle in. Meanwhile we'll all suffer more
