First council meeting; Deputy Mayor selected

On January 11, 2023, the Mayor and Council of Miramichi River Valley met for the first regular council meeting of the new rural community in the Council Chambers at the Blackville Community Center on 12 Bartholomew Road South. All were present, with Councillor Sheasgreen joining the meeting via live video.
