And in "no shit, Sherlock" news: "Contrary to the belief that RTO boosts company value, the analysis revealed that RTO mandates are more likely in firms with poor recent stock performance and have had no significant impacts on firm profitability or stock-returns. Moreover, a notable drop in employee job satisfaction was observed, further questioning the efficacy of these mandates."
Use only lowercase letter to reduce carbon emissions and save the planet! Kidding, but it does help with text compression and overall storage size which reduces the embodied carbon required to store the data.
@carnage4life what are the chances that the product “didn’t scale” because the first version was riddled with short-term fixes and hacks (against the CTOs best judgement) to get a prototype working just to secure more funding and not actually ACTUALLY work?
@stubenhocker that’s interesting, how do you follow blue sky people here or vice versa? My experience so far has been very siloed, even within Mastodon itself, so to break those down would be amazing!
Ive committed myself to only using Blue Sky the past couple months over Mastodon to try it out. It’s good but the community is still growing and some features lacking. Curious what others think: just use one or the other? Dual-post on both? Specific use case for each? Something else?
