I realized recently that modern terminals can actually reasonably display images. And I am not a fan of all kind of large electron clients for Subsonic for my music listening needs (and other issues with other clients).
So... I'm going to try and create a TUI client in Rust as a learning experience. Hey, it can play random song and show cover image already what more do I need?
Sometimes I get to do stuff that's downright exciting. Like pushing that "Make this repository public" button on https://github.com/duckduckgo/macos-browser :-)
#zoom is definitely one of the worst proprietary apps I've had the misfortune to use. It's 2024. Wake the F up. #wayland is here to stay. I don't have to figure out workarounds for your BS. Screensharing worked in your previous version. Why'd you have to break it?
Not to mention this breaks on KDE even on supported distros. WTF. Did they just go back to using internal Gnome API instead of pipewire?
So apparently https://mapy.cz (and the owner - seznam.cz) decided that they will give everyone an option: Pay 79CZK/month (~3 EUR) and see ordinary ads. Or use the services for free and be tracked.
Now's as good time as any to recommend people use/contribute to #openstreetmap
