Love this time of year, when our regular adult bird visitors start introducing their offspring into our small urban garden. Currently we have juvenile blue tits, great tits, robins, goldfinches, starlings and blackbirds 😍

@eLearningTechie I feel your pain. Two weeks ago I actually got to see a GP in person, having first made an appointment in November (for January, the first they could offer me, which was inexplicably cancelled in December). While I was there I tried to book my six-month check-in with the diabetes nurse and was told 'there are no appointments... Try calling in a couple of weeks' 😳

Instead approach the day calmly without making eye contact, pet it gently, and slowly enfold it in a careful embrace
If the day shows any signs of resistance to being engaged with, it is likely to turn on you. Back off and return to bed.

@eLearningTechie Same here: Romanian folk music on one side - although they have calmed down a bit lately (she says, jinxing it), plus we do actually have a relationship with them. The new lot have been avoiding all interaction since they moved in, and on top of the music they seem to have their well-used (!) bed against our living room wall 😳 The joys of mid-terrace living. As you say, it grinds you down. I just don't know how people can be so oblivious or inconsiderate.

@sbourne aha, I thought it was you! We don't really have the space for the boardgame - though I would like to experience that at some point - but the online version is a thing of beauty 🙂
