got an email into my former band's inbox offering a "critique" of our two-year-old EP and just... ugh
i mean i'm already turned off by the name "divide and conquer", which is a phrase that has no place in music as far as i'm concerned

i was caught by the tension between her complete conviction, and her need to find conciliation - both driven by the inequality and persecution she experienced
