I’m alive
my garage is dirty
dimebag domestic shorthair
new skill acquired
oops my first bridge removal and I also removed the top ply of wood. Anyway gotta convert it back to a trapeze
I went back and forth if I was doing the right thing. The neck screw was impossible for me to access without doing this and the neck needs a hard reset. In a recent Ted Woodford video he said something like “nothing can’t be fixed”. I’m going to fix the kerfing and add binding to the back when I glue it back on.
Removed the back from a homemade octave mandolin and I only broke one brace that was hopelessly glued to the kerfing.
I think I gotta build my own soundhole pickup for this thing. and fix the fret positions
of course I had to go down a rabbit hole about the Regal Octofone
