Assistant Professor
The Department of Chemistry at Rutgers University-Newark invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of organic chemistry, broadly defined, to start September 2024. Applicants with research interests that complement existing departmental strengths are encouraged.Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program, to teach undergraduate organic chemistry, and to expand the diversity of our graduate (Ph.D. and M.S.) course offerings. Competitive start-up funds commensurate with the needs of the specific area will be provided.
