@stroughtonsmith I am on iPadOS 26 Public Beta. Latest YouTube app update. They have copied iPadOS’s PiP video in-app (UX-wise). Can swipe off to hide, shows an arrow when hidden, etc. HOWEVER, the animation tied to hiding and moving the floating PiP video overlay in the YT app is more pleasing than the native iPadOS implementation. Rare, but Apple should look at what Google did here. Hot take?
