@rbreich ICE can't be trusted. Even if it loses its weapons and has more laws or conditions imposed on it, there is no reason to believe ICE will stop breaking the law and killing people. You are asking people to settle for congress putting a muzzle on a rabid dog before letting it roam their neighborhood.

@richpuchalsky If Chinese and US authoritarians are equal in human rights abuses, at least the Chinese government has improved conditions for its people, with amazing progress over the past 30 years. I struggle to find an example of anything liberal democracy improved in the same time.
1) Start 7.5 hr daily stream
2) Pull up video of somebody talking for 10 min against an animated background, but pass because that's boring for a stream
3) Play, talk over, and pause other twitch, twitter & youtube videos
4) Watch clip of a streamer having to sound words out as they courageously learn to read in front of their audience
5) Play videos about a literacy crisis, especially amongst the youth
6) Agree there is a literacy crisis
7) Maybe play a video game
8) Prep to repeat tomorrow

"Early Access" on Steam is starting to feel like a means to disclose use of #AI at a later date
WIRED has been doing some great stuff over the past couples year, but the way they write about LLM #AI is just too off-putting for me to continue providing support. Every chance they can give a glorified word prediction algo more credit than such a thing deserves, WIRED takes. AI isn't causing ICE (or anybody else of sound mind) to do shit, Fascist humans with too much power and no accountability are behind all of this. AI is the intended fallback, the excuse, and we can't allow that.
