I was unaware Threads was posting stuff originating on mastodon nodes. I thought it was more of a bot/pass through. I can see how that's more complicated of a call.

But it feels a full ban is anti-spirit of the whole thing. If *I* want my stuff to be passed through ... I know you aren't making the final call for your node.

@BRicker No, we’ve been in community there for 12-13 years. When we first came to Dot in 2006, we attended Milton for a bit as FPD was grappling with if they wanted to continue or not/restore the building or sell, etc.

Posted as each of those orgs and reposted from my personal which I believe is the incantation you've prescribed. Where do *I hear on better.boston* follow? Is there something to do to make it visible broadly rather than just in your node?

Translation?: Because I changed settings and then posted, the act of posting had threads handshake with mastadon/fediverse that I exist/am credentialed or some such, but the content itself if not being replicated/displayed in a visible way
