Lawyer, veteran, aspiring academic (one of these days), former historian, owner of 1 cat, father of 1 son. Musings on law, society, cats, and other free opinions. And sometimes TTRPGs.

@NoFlexZone Great question. It raises a lot of important issues, including:

1. Should judges be IP specialists?

2. Who gets to be an "IP specialist," anyway?

3. Would a judge who passed the patent bar have been better equipped to decide this case?

I think others might be interested in these issues, too, so I'm going to boost and make this a thread.

Guten Appetit!

I recently published a piece on PragerU, an unaccredited school registered as a nonprofit, which is behind controversial right-wing propaganda videos recently approved for Florida schools.

I looked at hundreds of 990s to identify the largest recent funders of PragerU and how they are spending their money (Facebook, Google)

The Oklahoma Dept of Education just announced a partnership with PragerU - they are spreading.
