Since 2017, Oceana Europe has been calling for the European Commission to create a public, electronic database of #fishing authorizations. Finally, after multiple delays, the database is now live and searchable. Fantastic news for #FisheriesTransparency. #IUU #Fisheries

At long last, on March 4, nations around the world have agreed to a #HighSeasTreaty to protect marine biodiversity and provide oversight of international waters.
